Healthcare Photography

Where photography & healthcare collide

Matthew is an NHS doctor in the West Midlands. While studying at Warwick Medical School, he was surrounded by motivated future doctors. Clinical exposure & simulation are critical to teaching, learning & practicing soon-to-be everyday skills. His fascination for pre-hospital and emergency medicine saw him frequently treat, teach and photograph high-fidelity simulated emergencies.

While Matthew is not a medical photographer (a formal qualification), his unique perspective and appreciation for healthcare creates rich, compelling artwork. From hospital to primary care, his understanding of values & protocol aid him in capturing authentic photographs. All patients featured are actors unless consented and specified.

Projects below feature pre-hospital emergency simulations and in-hospital staff portraits.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
