Healthcare
Photography & insights as an NHS doctor
Where photography & healthcare collide
As an NHS doctor in the West Midlands, my journey began at Warwick Medical School, where I was inspired by the dedication of my fellow medical students. I learned firsthand how vital hands-on experience and simulation are in developing the skills we use every day. My passion for emergency and pre-hospital medicine led me to dive deep into high-fidelity simulations - treating, teaching, and capturing these intense learning moments through my lens.
While I'm not a certified medical photographer, my dual perspective as both doctor and artist helps me create compelling visual stories of healthcare. Whether I'm in a busy hospital ward or a local GP surgery, my understanding of medical protocols and values allows me to capture authentic moments while respecting the sensitive nature of healthcare environments. For patient privacy, all medical scenarios featured use actors unless otherwise specified with proper consent.
Below, you'll find my work capturing the dynamic world of pre-hospital emergency simulations and intimate portraits of the dedicated staff who make our NHS run.
